Aberry House Kitchen Wins Award

Kitchen tops the awards

The Leicester City Council Food Safety Team Environmental Services inspected the Aberry House kitchen on Monday 21 December and awarded the service the highest rating in the smilesafe scheme, a national inspection scheme set by the Food Standards Agency.

Aberry scored the highest standards in all categories: food hygiene, practice, cleanliness, food safety, procedure and training.

Head Cook Sheila Cole, with over 18 years Kitchen Management experience has been accredited for her high standards on several occasions, having been awarded in local council inspections over several years. Sheila was naturally delighted that her team had achieved the top position. The smilesafe scheme is given prominence at Aberry House, the kitchen can take a deserved bow in the spotlight.
