Meet the Team

All residents are in the care of a loyal, dedicated and competent staff group. Our attention to detail ensures excellence in the duty of care, it’s our hallmark. Aberry house and Alston House have built on an enviable reputation since 1988.

Owned and personally supervised by Margaret and Martin Madden.

Margaret, trained as a specialist social worker for the elderly is qualified to a higher degree M.A., B.Sc (Hons) and C.Q.S.W., the latter is the professional qualification of her vocation career in social work.

Margaret also holds a dementia awareness certificate and a British sign language qualification.

Martin has a business background with a Fellowship from a National Institute and a BA Hons degree.

The Care Team is managed, supervised and trained to deliver the very best in care provision. Qualified Carers with ongoing training are able to provide Day, Respite, Residential and Palliative Care. The Care Service is supported by kitchen, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance and office staff, Aberry and Alston meets its ongoing needs with strength in both numbers and abilities.
